How many of you, my team friends, shopped Russian Grocery Store? Not many? Well, I am going to give you a short tour.
Last week I went to Baltimore, MD area to shop for some Russian goodies and here are some of them:
Buckwheat is very healthy for you. As I am writing this, my hubby is making meatloaf with buckwheat mixed in it. He is trying this for the first time. Will see if we like that.
Some sweets are a must! hehehe!
Marinated mixed mushrooms! I added chopped onion and olive oil.
Dinner is ready. I'll be right back.
Yum! The sweets look delicious!
ReplyDeleteI don't think there's a Russian food store where I live, but this looks good. My grandparents (all 4) were from Russia, I love the food!
ReplyDeleteMy grandfather was from Russia - the Ukraine too.
ReplyDeleteHow did the meatloaf turn out?
Mmmm ... what time should I be there tonight? Those marinated mushrooms look dee-lish❣
ReplyDeleteWould love to know how the meatloaf turned out. The desserts look pretty good too!
ReplyDeleteYummy desserts. How was the meatloaf? I hope it turned out good.
ReplyDeleteThe only thing I know about "buckwheat" is that he was on TV, LOL!" The desserts look especially yummy. Mushrooms don't look too bad either.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dinner! Mmm so curious about how those sweets taste!
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a Russian grocery! Thanks for the tour. Those sweets look yummy (I have a big sweet tooth)!

ReplyDeleteThanks everyone for visiting my blog. Meatloaf turned out really tasty. Buckwheat is a low glycemic food so it is good for someone who is diabetic or dieting.
